Routine Building

A good routine isn't the longest one — it's the most intentional one. Learn how to sequence your products correctly, build around your barrier, and stop adding steps that aren't helping.

Why This Matters

More products is almost never the answer.

The skincare industry benefits from complexity. More steps, more products, more actives — all of it is sold as necessary. Almost none of it is. A well-built routine of three to five products, used consistently and correctly, will outperform a twelve-step routine that isn't sequenced properly or suited to your actual skin.

The most common routine-building mistakes aren't about choosing the wrong products — they're about applying the right products in the wrong order, at the wrong frequency, or on top of a barrier that can't tolerate them yet. Order matters because skin absorption is sequential. Timing matters because some ingredients conflict. And barrier state matters because everything else depends on it.

The resources in this hub teach you to think about your routine as a system — where every step has a reason, and every product earns its place.
