Ritual Script exists because I needed it, and it didn’t exist yet.
Around COVID, I became seriously ill and eventually developed large lesions across my face and neck. I worked with several dermatologists who were genuinely trying to help, but the underlying cause remained elusive and the cycle kept repeating.
I took a year of medical leave and immersed myself in studying skin biology, barrier function, ingredients, formulations, and how products interact with the skin. I rebuilt my routine one ingredient at a time. Eventually, my skin healed — and it has remained clear since.
Understanding always comes before recommendations.
That experience changed the way I think about skincare forever. I realized that most people don’t need more products — they need better information. Before you can build the right routine, you have to understand the skin in front of you.
That idea became the foundation of Ritual Script. Every recommendation begins with understanding: your skin history, your barrier health, your goals, your lifestyle, and your unique circumstances. Products matter, but education comes first.
A background built from both study and experience.
My background combines professional experience and personal research. As a Certified Skincare Coach and Licensed Advanced Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv), I’ve spent years studying ingredients, formulations, and how products work. Combined with my own experience, that perspective shapes the guidance I provide today.
