Frequently Asked Questions
Questions About Ritual Script & Your Practice
What is Ritual Script, and what does it actually do?
Ritual Script provides personalized, written skincare routine education built around each client individually. After completing a detailed intake, clients receive a written protocol that explains their recommended routine, the reasoning behind each product and step, pacing guidance for introducing new products, and clear direction on when to return to a licensed professional. It is not a product line, a subscription box, or a skincare quiz. It is a written education service designed to help clients follow through on the home-care guidance they receive from professionals like you.
How does Ritual Script support my practice without competing with it?
Ritual Script is built around a clearly defined scope: personalized home-care education. It does not perform services, make clinical assessments, recommend in-office treatments, or advise clients on what to ask their esthetician. What it does is give clients a written home-care reference they can actually follow between appointments — which means fewer product detours, more consistent routines, and clients who arrive at their next appointment with clearer language about what they used and how their skin responded.
Ritual Script is designed to complement your professional work, not to replicate or replace it.
Does Ritual Script replace my product recommendations?
No. Ritual Script does not override, replace, or compete with product recommendations made by a licensed esthetician or skincare professional. Protocols may include product options across multiple price points — including professional, retail, and budget-conscious alternatives — but clients are always directed back to their esthetician for professional guidance, product-specific questions, and in-person recommendations. Ritual Script products may appear as one option within a protocol but are never required.

How are client protocols personalized? Do you use a template?
No templates are used. Each protocol is written individually based on the client’s completed intake, which covers skin history, current products, reported concerns, tolerance, goals, and lifestyle factors. The result reflects that specific client’s situation — not a generalized routine adapted for a skin type category. Every recommendation includes a rationale explaining why it belongs in the routine, a pacing note for how to introduce or adjust it, and at least one alternative at a different price point.
What do clients actually receive when they book a service?
Deliverables vary by service tier, but core elements across most services include a personalized AM/PM routine map, ingredient rationale for every recommendation, pacing guidance, multiple product options at different price points, and clear direction on when to return to a professional. Higher-tier services include a Daily Routine reference card and extended support. All protocols are delivered digitally as PDFs within the service timeframe.
What services are available, and what do they cost?
Ritual Script offers three client-facing services: The Skin Brief™ ($55, entry-level, focused 1–2 page written response), Scripted Insight™ ($135, core service, comprehensive written protocol with AM/PM routine, product guide, pacing timeline, and Daily Routine reference card), and The Ritual Reset™ ($225, intensive, includes Scripted Insight plus 30 days of guided implementation support). All services are booked directly through ritualscript.com/skin-support.
How do I introduce Ritual Script to a client without it feeling like a sales pitch?
The most natural introduction is simply observational: if a client mentions feeling overwhelmed by their home-care routine, asks questions that fall outside the scope of your appointment, or struggles with consistency between visits, you can mention that a written home-care reference exists and point them to the website. No formal referral is required — clients can book directly, and there is no coordination needed from your practice.
A client card is available for treatment rooms and check-out areas. Contact raeann@ritualscript.com to request printed materials.
Is there a formal referral process?
No. There is no referral form, no intake coordination, and no administrative requirement from your practice. You can mention Ritual Script verbally, share the website, or provide a client card. Clients explore available services and book on their own. The experience is the same whether a client finds Ritual Script through you or independently.
What resources are available to spa and esthetician partners?
Spa and esthetician partners have complimentary access to the Wellness Partner Resource Library, which includes client education handouts, barrier repair references, printable support materials, and updated professional resources. The library is available at ritualscript.com/wellness-partners. Printed client cards, custom practice materials, and additional partnership resources are available upon request.
Can Ritual Script create materials customized for my practice?
Yes. Upon request, Ritual Script can develop client education materials adapted for your practice — including handout cards formatted with your practice name, preferred language, and sharing instructions. These are created within the skincare education and barrier-first scope and are designed to feel like a natural extension of your existing client communication. To request custom materials, use the contact form at ritualscript.com/wellness-partners or email raeann@ritualscript.com.
Who is Ritual Script, and what are the credentials behind the service?
Ritual Script is run by Rachel Gegner, CPhT-Adv (Certified Pharmacy Technician – Advanced) and Certified Skincare Coach. The CPhT-Adv credential reflects advanced training in medications, drug interactions, and patient counseling. All services operate within a clearly defined skincare education scope. Ritual Script does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice. When a concern falls outside that scope, clients are directed back to their esthetician or healthcare provider.
Is Ritual Script appropriate for clients who are also seeing a dermatologist or other medical provider?
Yes. Ritual Script is designed to complement professional care at every level. When a client is under dermatological or medical care, the Ritual Script protocol is built to work alongside that care — not to alter, replace, or second-guess it. Clients are consistently directed to keep clinical decisions with their medical provider, and any concern that falls outside the home-care education scope is referred back to the appropriate professional.
How do I get started as a wellness partner?
No formal enrollment is required. Wellness partner resources are available to any spa or esthetician practice at no cost. Visit ritualscript.com/wellness-partners to access the resource library, download available materials, and submit a contact request for partnership inquiries, custom materials, or additional information.
