A Different Kind of Skin Education

Most patients leave a dermatology or aesthetics appointment with a prescription, a product recommendation, and very little time to absorb either. By their next visit, the progress you worked to create has often stalled — not because the patient was non-compliant, but because they didn’t have enough guidance to sustain it at home.

Ritual Script exists to fill that gap. It provides personalized, written skincare education that patients can keep, reference, and follow between appointments — reducing confusion, reinforcing thoughtful product choices, and supporting the outcomes you’re working toward in the treatment room.

The philosophy behind Ritual Script is barrier-first and evidence-informed. Every protocol is built around how the skin barrier actually functions — not around product loyalty, trend cycles, or one-size-fits-all routines. The goal is a home-care strategy that genuinely serves the patient’s skin and reinforces, rather than undermines, your clinical work.

What Ritual Script Is

Ritual Script Skincare™ offers written skincare routine education built around each patient individually. Rather than working from a template, every protocol is shaped by the patient’s skin history, current products, reported concerns, tolerance, and goals. The result is a document the patient can follow at home and return to between visits — one that explains the reasoning behind every product and step, not just the order of application.

What Patients Receive

Every protocol is delivered digitally and written specifically for the individual patient — not adapted from a template. Core deliverables across services include:

✓Personalized AM/PM routine map
✓Ingredient rationale for every recommendation
✓Pacing guidance for introducing or adjusting products
✓Multiple product options at different price points
✓Clear guidance on when to return to their provider
✓Daily Routine reference card (Scripted Insight and above)

The Process

1

Patient Completes Intake

After booking, the patient receives a detailed intake form covering skin history, current products, lifestyle factors, concerns, and goals. No chart access or clinical handoff is required.

2

Protocol Is Built

Each response is written individually based on the patient’s intake. No templates. Every recommendation includes a rationale, a pacing note, and at least two alternatives at different price points.

3

Delivered Digitally

The completed protocol is delivered as a PDF within the service timeframe (3–5 business days depending on service tier). The patient receives a document they can save, print, and reference at home.

Prescriptions Are Never Changed or Overridden

When a patient is on a prescribed regimen, the Ritual Script protocol is built to work alongside it. Non-prescription product guidance is structured to complement — not conflict with — provider instructions. If there is any ambiguity, the patient is directed back to their prescribing provider before making changes.

Why Providers Find It Valuable

Better Medication Adherence Context

Patients who understand their full routine — including how their prescription fits alongside their home-care steps — are more likely to use it correctly and consistently.

Fewer Counterproductive Product Choices

Without guidance, patients often add products that conflict with their treatment plan. A written protocol gives them a clear framework that reduces this risk.

Clearer Follow-Up Conversations

Patients arrive at their next appointment with a documented routine they can describe accurately — what they used, how often, and what changed. This makes your intake more efficient.

No Coordination Required

There is no chart handoff, no referral form, and no administrative coordination required from your practice. Patients can be referred informally or find Ritual Script independently.

Credentials

Ritual Script is run by Rachel, CPhT-Adv (Certified Pharmacy Technician – Advanced) and Certified Skincare Coach. The CPhT-Adv credential reflects advanced training in medications, drug interactions, and patient counseling — which directly informs how Ritual Script approaches patients who are managing prescriptions alongside their home-care routine.

All services operate within a clearly defined skincare education scope. Ritual Script does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical advice. When a concern falls outside that scope, patients are directed back to their provider.

Patients Who Benefit Most

✓Patients on topical prescriptions who need help building a compatible home-care routine around their regimen
✓Patients post-procedure who need pacing guidance during recovery and barrier rebuilding
✓Patients with reactive or sensitive skin who are overwhelmed by conflicting product advice
✓Patients with complex routines who are inadvertently using products that conflict with their treatment plan
✓Patients who want to be more proactive between appointments but don’t know where to start
✓Patients who ask detailed skincare questions that fall outside the scope of a clinical appointment
