Common Questions from Medical Providers
Scope of Practice
Does Ritual Script diagnose or treat skin conditions?
No. Ritual Script provides educational skincare coaching and barrier-first skin strategy guidance. Medical concerns belong with the patient’s provider. Ritual Script handles the education and routine implementation layer between visits — helping patients understand their skin and build a strategy that holds up between appointments.
Does Ritual Script change or override prescription instructions?
No. If a patient is on a prescribed regimen, the protocol is built to work alongside it. Ritual Script does not change, interpret, or replace instructions from a provider, and does not recommend anything that would conflict with an existing prescription plan.
Do you work with prescription products?
Ritual Script does not alter or recommend prescription treatments. When a patient is managing a prescribed regimen, the guidance is structured to complement it — clarifying how non-prescription products fit alongside provider instructions, while leaving all prescription management to the treating provider.
Is this only for dermatology practices?
No. Ritual Script works with aesthetics practices and spas as well — anywhere patients or clients need skin education and routine implementation support between professional appointments.
Services & How They Work
What does a patient actually receive?
Depending on the service: a 1–2 page focused written response (The Skin Brief™, $55); a full 15–20+ page written skin strategy with a Daily Routine reference and Product Guide (Scripted Insight™, $135); or Scripted Insight plus 30 days of guided education and routine implementation support (The Ritual Reset™, $225). Everything is delivered digitally as a PDF.
Do you recommend Ritual Script products over other brands?
No. Recommendations are based on the patient’s skin, goals, ingredient compatibility, and budget — not brand loyalty. Ritual Script products may be included when appropriate, but every protocol includes multiple options from a variety of brands. Patients are never required to purchase Ritual Script products.
How long does it take to receive a protocol?
Turnaround varies by service tier: The Skin Brief™ is typically ready within 3 business days; Scripted Insight™ within 5 business days. The Ritual Reset™ begins delivery within 5 business days, with the 30-day implementation window starting from that point.
Referring Patients & Resources
Referring Patients
Do patients need a referral from my office?
No formal referral is required. Providers may share the patient page or a printed handout as an optional resource. Patients can also find and book independently — the process is identical either way.
Can patients book directly?
Yes. Patients may be referred by a provider or find Ritual Script on their own. The services, pricing, and experience are the same regardless of how they arrive.
Is there any coordination required from my practice?
None. No chart access, no clinical handoff, no coordination needed — unless a patient chooses to share context on their own.
How do I share Ritual Script with a patient?
Simply mention it during the appointment and direct the patient to ritualscript.com/skinsupport, or share a printed patient handout card. The URL and QR code are printed at the bottom of every Ritual Script patient handout — if you’re already using them, the referral pathway is already built in.
Resources & Credentials
Can you create handouts for our practice?
Many educational resources can be adapted for clinic use within the skincare education and barrier-first scope — including patient handout cards formatted for waiting rooms, check-out areas, or follow-up packets. Reach out via the contact form at ritualscript.com/pages/skin-partners.
What are the credentials behind Ritual Script?
Ritual Script is run by Rachel, a Certified Skincare Coach and CPhT-Adv (Certified Pharmacy Technician – Advanced). The CPhT-Adv credential reflects advanced training in medications, drug interactions, and patient counseling — which directly informs how Ritual Script approaches patients who are managing prescriptions alongside their home-care routine. All services operate within a clearly defined skincare education scope.
Where can I find the full provider resource library?
The Medical Resource Library at ritualscript.com/pages/medical-resource-library includes patient education handouts, scope-of-practice reference documents, this FAQ, the Provider Information Guide, and updated clinical partnership resources — all available at no cost to medical providers.
